It has taught me how to love myself and release my baggage and beliefs. This has allowed me to be more empowering, more supportive and more present with my kids and overall, a better mom. This has had a ripple effect in every area of my life. When my son was diagnosed with autism, at 26 months, I did not know where to turn. I felt alone, and that I had somehow failed him.
It also felt as though all of my dreams had died. The son that I had fantasized about had died. The hurts and grief were deep. I was desperate to help him. As I have always been somewhat of a rebel, I began looking for therapies and anything I could do to help him that were “outside of the box”.
What I discovered, in “helping my son”, were subconscious blocks, including and not limited to, core beliefs, my traumas and their impact on me, hidden programming, passed down from my family and society, as well as emotions. Although mindset plays a role in all of these areas, Tapping will take you to the core issue and clear it out, simplifying a positive mindset.
After becoming an EFT Practitioner, I began to become intrigued at how EFT could help with emotional eating/food cravings and wealth/abundance. I have struggled with emotional eating as far back as I can remember. The scale and wardrobe have continually fluctuated throughout the years for me. Food and eating were “all consuming” (pun intended) for me. No matter how much I tried to control (and punish) myself, I simply could not figure out what was blocking me from “Eating with Freedom”. Once I uncovered the blocks, I was able to release them with EFT and now Eating with Freedom.
Believe it or not, a lot of similar blocks. It boils down to our relationship with ourselves, our beliefs and our emotions.
Our emotions and beliefs hold us (and often our loved ones) back from living the life we are intended to live.
